Nailed it!

Hey guys! 

The geometric trend continues this year and transformed even to nails. Triangle, square and circles begin to decorate the nails in a cute and complex designs. Many geometric designs require special tools, a steady hand and takes a long time but I want to show you a simple design that plays on the trend's shapes and gives a new twist on the half moon manicure, that i also really like. 

I volunteered my mom's fingers for this guide because my nails are still healing from the gel polish that i removed. She chose this beatiful deep purple polish by Maybelline- New york (No. 17). 

Enjoy, 

1. Start out with a base coat

2. Drag the nail polish in a diagnol line from the cuticle to the center

3. Repeat the same step in the other direction connecting the lines in the middle, creating a triangle

4. Fill in the rest of the nail. add a secend coat. 

 5. Finish it out with a top coat and you are done!

50 shades of grey

Hey guys!

The key to a monochromatic outfit is to mix texture. The use of textures gives dimension to the outfit and prevents it from being flat and boring. I decided to build the look around this cool leather skirt. I wanted a leather skirt for winter, and I really liked that it's grey and the two zippers gives that rock 'n' roll vibe. I wore this grey knit and my cut outs booties with silver accent. To keep the grey going i added this twisted necklace that reminds me a knit swather, and  some silver rings and nail polish.

Enjoy the zoo

Hi guys! 

I don't know why but there's something magical about visiting the zoo animals. I know there is a debate about the conditions and their captivity, but I put it aside and relate to the experience itself. A visit to the zoo always sends me to my childhood and the memories from overseas. I remember the trip with the family at the zoo in Prague, how my older sister and i carved our name with our finger on the skin of a rhinoceros that was close enough for us to reach out.

The other day I went to the zoo in Ramat Gan with my family. The weather was excellent, sunny day with the smell of rain in the air which gave the trip that nostalgic and fun mood and made the day perfect.

For you, I'd leave it all

 One of my favorite coats is this khaki one i thrifted a month ago. I especially love it because it cost me only 10 NIS,  and because it's such a versatile piece. Khaki it a neutral so you can style it with everything, so i pried it with another neutral- Denim. Because i didn't want it becoming boring, i wore my sparkling necklace from Ebay, and a cute mouse bag also from Ebay.

Fringes on fringes

Hi guys!

Today i started my senior year in college! I don'y know whether to be excited or be afraid but it's certainly a special day. I remember reading a quote by Oscar Wilde that says "You can never be overdress or overeducated" and i couldn't agree more. With that in mind i styled a black dress, because you can never go wrong with LBD, with one of my favorite new boots. I threw on a floral Kimono with fringes to spice up things and a matching black bag big enough to hold my school stuff. 

I'm wishing me and all those in school a great year full of good grades and beautiful clothes!

Oh Mickey you're so fine

 Hi guys!

Fall is almost here! The water is kinda cooling down and the forecast is for a rainy weekend, but in the meantime it's really sunny and warm. So i wanted to sneak one last summer outfit. I'm in love with this Mickey shirt that i bought from Ebay, and i felt it was appropriate with Halloween that coming up this Friday. I paired it with my white shorts (also from Ebay), and my favorite H&M cut out booties.

Sorry I'm in pajamas

One of the rules for thrifting is to keep an open mind when looking for clothes. If it's in the shop, never limit yourself only to the women section. I also go to the men section and even the kids section, because you never know what find you'll get. This shirt is actually a pajama! To be honest i didn't knew that when i bought it. I was looking for a bright blouse and i really loved the colors and the floral print on this one.   

I paired it with dark jeans from H&M and nude heels from TOGO.
